What this site does with your data.

Review request form

  • What is stored: when you press "Send request", your name, email address, website, the three choices in the form, your optional message, the page language and the time are sent to Layerly's own server and stored in a database there. We use them only to answer your request.
  • Your reference: each stored request gets a reference such as LR-261028-7KQ2MX. The confirmation on the page means only that the request was stored. It is not a reply, and it does not send you an email.
  • Who can read it: only Farshid Ghaffari, directly on the server. Requests are not public, are not shared with other companies, and are not sent to analytics.
  • Notifications: Layerly may receive an email saying that a new request arrived. That email holds only the reference and the choices you selected, not your name, email address, website or message.
  • Abuse protection: to limit repeated sending, the server briefly keeps your IP address in memory in a form that cannot be read back. It is not stored with your request. The web server may keep its own technical access logs.
  • Deleting your request: email farshid@layerly.net with your reference and we delete it. A fixed retention period has not been set yet; when it is, it will be stated on this page.

Automated website check

Automated website checks: the public URL and report expire after 24 hours and are removed on the next cleanup cycle (normally within 30 seconds while the service is running, or on restart). Do not submit credentials or private URLs. A keyed hash of the client address is used for rate limiting, and a necessary browser cookie restricts report access to the browser that started it. No AI provider receives the report in this version.

Analytics

We ask before turning analytics on. Analytics are not switched on yet: accepting does not load Google Analytics or Ahrefs and sends nothing. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key layerly-consent.

When analytics are switched on, Google Analytics 4 and Ahrefs Web Analytics will load only after you accept. If you choose "Necessary only" or make no choice, neither loads. This page will be updated before that happens.
